Treasurer

For over 30 years, Quamruzzaman has served the Bangladeshi community in different capacities including CEC representative of American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers & Architects (AABEA) Silicon Valley Chapter. He has been Chairperson of Bay Area Bangladeshi Association (BABA) for the last several years. He is also the founding Director of Educational, Charitable, and Humanitarian Organization (ECHO) and currently Treasurer of that organization. He has been Director and Treasurer of South Bay Islamic Association (SBIA). Quamruzzaman was instrumental in identifying, acquiring, and establishing the new larger SBIA center within the golden triangle of Bay Area. Professionally, he worked at Cisco Systems for 15+ years before he left the company. He came to California in 1983. He did MS in Nuclear Engg from Pakistan, Diplom from Germany, and Master’s in Reliability Engineering from San Jose State University.
